Keep all objects, including matches and wick trimmings, out of the wax pool. Do not burn candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Allow to cool before each relighting. Discontinue burning a candle when 0.5 cm/0.2 inch of unmelted wax remains. The use of candles is strictly at one’s own risk.
